    What is the context?
I have set [some] values - I have established some values..

    sentimental value:
sentimental value definition - Dictionary - MSN Encarta [source]

Definition: value based on emotional association: a value placed on something because of its emotional associations rather than its monetary worth.

Do you mean a set of values? I believe it is a basic set of values, or morality all our understanding arises from. That is, is death a good or a bad thing? Our judgement must reflect our set of values. Chinese people have one set of values, Americans another and so on.

Sentimental value? Something that has a sentimental value is priceless. You can have a picture worth almost nothing in money, but to you it is worth a lot, it is something that money can't buy - due to its sentimental value. You could have received it from your late grandmother, or from someone dear to you.
