    incorrect sentences

    How can you help a student who commonly missed out the indefinite article 'a' or 'an' as in the correct sentence. "he was hungry so he ate an apple"

    Here's one way.

    Nouns take a or an:

    Ex: He was hungry, so he ate an apple.
