    Grammar help! I need it!

For my first area of discussion, I asked my mother if she agrees with Mr. Campbell’s decisions on the various issues that exist in our province.

Is there any grammar or punctuation mistake here? and if there is, how can i fix it?

It should be ' I asked my mother if she agreed with Mr. Campbell’s decisions on the various issues that exist in our province.'

I agree with Henry's answer; the past tense would be more common. You will see that present tense used in that situation, however.
