Well First Of All There Are Some Things You Have To Know First:
There Is A Big Difference Between The/ A- An.
The First One (the) Is Used To Refer To A Single "noun" (unique)
A-an On The Other Hands, Are Both Use To Refer To Normal Things And Most Important Of All, Undetermined.
Ex: I Checked Many Computer Models Some Dell, A Sony, An Apple But The Hp 2002la Is The One That I Liked.
In The Example Above Niether Of The trade Marks Given , included a description with the model,As The Hp One. In This Cases You May Use "the"

    Did You Get It?

    Say:
An English teacher was glad that she came to our city.
    Or:
The English teacher was glad that she came to our city.
Whether you should use "An" or "The" depends on context.
