    Re: he or him?

A-"with as much dedication as he" U
B-"with as much dedication as him" W

One can see that clearly by adding the verb ‘is’ to the end of the phrase.

I'm sorry, but there is no sentence there. However, I would probably choose A. For example:
He did the job with as much dedication as he could muster.

"The ants worked on their anthil with as much dedication as he"

Is this sentence correct or no?

It is grammatically correct, but it is an odd sentence.
The ants worked on their anthill with as much dedication as he (did)(does).

    Thank you 2006!

    If i put:
"The ants worked on their anthill with as much dedication as him."
is it less odd or still sounds awkward?

    Thanks for your help

    Re: he or him?

IMO only "he" works here because if we want to use "he" we should say "The ants and he (not him) worked on their anthill with a lot of dedication.

    Re: he or him?

"He" is a boy that was working on his sandcastle, not the anthill.
    Does it still make sense?
What would be the problem with "him"?. Is not correct at all?

Thanks again! I don't mean to be "heavy" but I really need this info!!!

Actually "him" doesn't sound odd because native speakers often say "him", even though "him" is not correct. "he" is correct.

    Re: he or him?

"The ants worked on their anthill with as much dedication as he worked on his sandcastle" would sound perfectly fine to me.
