Is the following sentence correct?
"The ants worked on their anthil with as much dedication as he."
I don't think the information about who is "he" is necessary, is it?
The question is: do I have to put he or him at the end?
T"he ants worked on their anthill with as much dedication as he/him."

My story is about a boy working on a sandcastle. He sees ants nearby working on their anthill with as much dedication as he/him.
