    shall/should

    He said to me, "Shall I complete the work?"?

    He told me that shall/should she complete the work.

    Which one is correct?

    Please help me.

    I will use should in a clause of past tense. Should is the past tense of shall.

    But I have seen many times where "should" is used for a present or future tense.

    e.g. You should complete your work by tomorrow. (future)
    You should complete the work now. (present)

    Please help me.

    Yes, should can be used in above sentences. These 2 sentences sound like a request. I am not so good at grammer. Let's wait for teachers.
