    is it innapropriate to use a comma after 'and' in a sentance?

    Hi Casiopea,

    Here is an example sentence. Is this incorrect?

    Drop the "at" because it is not an adverb and, as a preposition, it has no object.

    Drop both commas. You could add a comma after the word adverb, like this, ... not an adverb, and as a preposition .... The comma works there.
