    You need money badly, need you?
    or
    You need money badly, do you?

    and:
    I needn't do that, need I?
    or
    I needn't do that, do I?

    Auxiliary verbs consist tag questions. So it should be:

    You need money badly, don't you?

    I need not do that, do I?
