Thanks Suzi and Mike for the help but I am still confused in following sentances.
    2-Written to be performed on a _____,

    community.

6-[As] secretary of transportation from 1975 to 1977, William Coleman worked [to help] the bankrupt railroads in the northeastern United States[ solved] their [financial] problems.
Why there should be solve as the phrase is referring to past?.

9-Indigo is a vat color, -—— called because it does not dissolve in water.
    (A) which it
    (B) it is
    (C) but

    12. lived in large multilevel structures, clustered in towns.

    13. The work for which...
    The New Colossus

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,

    With conquering limbs astride from land to land;

Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand

A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame

Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name

Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand

Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command

The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

"Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she

With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

    Beautiful, isn't it?
    :)

    (A) stage scenery of bare
    (B) bare of stage scenery
    (C) scenery bare of stage
    (D) stage bare of scenery
That construction is a bit dated. The phrase "bare of" functions as the preposition "without". Read it as "a stage without scenery"

6-[As] secretary of transportation from 1975 to 1977, William Coleman worked [to help] the bankrupt railroads in the northeastern United States[ solved] their [financial] problems.
Why there should be solve as the phrase is referring to past?.
The past tense verb is "worked" after that comes an infinitive "to help X solve". Because "solve" is part of this infinitive construction, it does not take inflections for number or tense.

9-Indigo is a vat color, -—— called because it does not dissolve in water.
    (A) which it
    (B) it is
    (C) but
    (D) so
Cant understand the meaning of the sentence.
The phrase "so called because" gives a reason for the name of something.
