    Writing a formal letter

Please advise why you recommend using Yours Faithfully or Your Sincerely with capital F and S? The rules are small F and S as in
    Yours sincerely and
    Yours faithfully.

I logged on to prove this to someone and find you are making the same error!!!

    Re: Writing a formal letter

Both phrases follow the same punctuation pattern as any other sentence, phrase, or word that begins a sentence: capitalize the first word only:

    Yours faithfully,
    Yours sincerely,

    Casiopea

    Does that help?
