    Hi,

    could you please tell me what "capping" means in the following sentence:

    "They have benn saying that the death squads have been capping their friends."

    "To cap" means "to kill" (usually by shooting).

    It's a slang expression that comes from gang culture in the US (or possibly Jamaica, I'm not sure).

    Boothling is correct, it is a slang phrase that means to shoot someone. If you "pop a cap" into someone, it means that you've shot them.
