Perhaps you meant "Would they like to stay at home?" and "Would they rather stay at home?"

Yes I meant that. It's ''yes or no question''

    How about:
I would rather not go on a beach holiday.
I would rather not = that is not my preference

I think it's a right sentence. Although I've never studied it before.
    I'm not sure RonBee.

I´ve noticed some of your posts Fleur in the other threads. I see you´ve improved a lot.
Just stick with what you´re doing Fleur, you´re doing great.

    What´s our next topic teacher?
I think my teacher has forgotten to make her lesson plan.

    blouen, Ronbee and Veron1.
Well sorry for my delaying. It's ramadan here and I have a business(cooking business)
Veron1 you are absent yesterday. I'll take from your marks as blouen

    Predications: Will and won't

    positive form:

I/You/He/She/We/They'll (=will) be here at six.

    negative form:

I/You/He/She/We/They won't(=will not) be here at six.

    Question form:

Will I/You/He/She/We/They have time to phone them?

1- We use ''will'' to say what we expect to happen. We use it when there is no particular plan or intention.

The weather will be very hot in July. (=this what I expect)
Will there be a lot of people? (=what do you expect?)

2- Notice: The difference between will and going to here:

We're going to visit the london Eye today. (= this what we intend/plan)
It'll be busy and we'll have to queue. (=this is what I expect).

3- We often use will with I think or I don't think.

Do you think france will win?
I don't think she'll be very happy when she hears about this.

4- Notice that they are no will forms of can and must. We use ''will be able to'' and ''will have to''.

We'll be able to go swimming every day.
If you go in March, you'll have to take a warm coat.
