    Default watching paint dry

Do you use the expression ¨watching paint dry¨?
    - I think it means a boring time spent on waiting. I´m not sure. I could use a little help, thanks a lot.

    You're right, B.

A: Do you want to go to the Opera?

B: I'd rather watch paint dry

    Riverkid's example is good.

"I'd rather watch paint dry." could mean "Opera bores me so much that I'd rather do something as boring as watch paint dry."
