Default I am not grounded today.

    What does that sentence mean?

Could you give me more examples?

If a child or teenager is not allowed to go out because they have done something wrong, that child is 'grounded'.

A 'grounded' person is one who is connected to the realities of lfe, not a dreamer.

Without the context, it is hard to say which meaning makes better sense.
