    Question pass (on) the information

Is there any actual difference between the two following sentences:
    1. "I will pass on this information to John."
    2. "I will pass this information to John."?

In fact, should (1) it be:
    3. "I will pass this information on to John."?

    Thanks,
    Nyggus

    Re: pass (on) the information

    All three are equally correct.

Cool Re: pass (on) the information

One thing worth remembering - if a pronoun used (e.g. it), put it after the verb, and before the particle:
I will pass it (= this information) on to John.

Incidentally, it's worth being aware of the other meanings of 'pass on' - http://www.usingenglish.com/referenc...s/pass+on.html
