    Question Grammer (?)

I am just curious. Why so many people, even here in this forum, write "grammer" instead of "grammar"? Is there any particular reason? I found even this: https://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/grammer.html, so it seems a common problem. There must be something underlying this!

Grammar is pronounced [grae'mr]. The 2nd <a> is not pronounced, so people who aren't familiar with the word's spelling, that it ends in -ar, and not the more familiar -er, write the word the way it sounds. It's human.
