    Which tense?

    I wonder if I can use the present simple tense in this sentence:

    ==================
    She won't get married until she is 25 years old.
    ==================

    Can anyone help?

    Re: Which tense?

    How about 'She won't get married until she will be 25 years old' ?

    Is it OK?

    Barb has already given you the right answer. Future tense is not usually used in time clauses. So, your sentence should sound:

    She won't get married until she is 25 years old, OR

    She will get married after she has turned 25 - The present perfect stresses the completion of the act in the time clause before the other act occurs in the future.
