    Default The use of "It"

    can some one help me with this?

    1)- I dont get it what you did.
    2)- I dont get what you did.

    Please tell me which one id correct, is it necessary to use use "it" with get or did?

    Both sentences sound odd to me, but I'd say the first is definitely wrong.
    I think you are using "what" as a kind of relative and this needs no antecedent. I mean:

    I don't understand what you mean. RIGHT
    I don't understand it what you mean. WRONG

    Furthermore, the first one is ungrammatical because the verb get has two objects:

    Two objects: I don't get it what you did.
    One object: I don't get it.
    One object: I don't get what you did.
