    Cool out of making do

Please, meaning for "out of making do" in this sentence:

"If something is continually missing from their lives --the sense of sight by instance- they may make an art out of making do (Two blind men, visitors to the grave of Simone Signoret, return home with a DVD of LES DIABOLIQUES, which they listen to with delight)

    Thank You

Default Re: out of making do

They are making an art out of "making-do" = they have become expert at using what they have available, however little that might be.
