    What does "to turn somebody off" mean?
    Is it an idiom? "to cut somebody on chills"
    if so ,what does it mean?
    indeed i am looking for an idiom which is "hal gereftan" in Persian

    To turn somebody off means to cause them to lose interest in something or show disgust.

    It turns me off when I see her treat people like that!

    I used to like their food but now it turns me off to see the lack of cleanliness in this restaurant.
