    past progressive or simple

    Hi,
    can you tell me your opinion on these sentences?

    She wasn't wearing (or didn't wear??) any make-up when Bob met her for the first time. She didn't look (she wasn't looking glamorous) like that.

    Either will work. It depends on what narrative technique you are using. Whichever you use, be consistent in the tenses.
