    I was wondering if someone could tell me what this ideiom means. here it goes

    here's our chance to pass with flying coloure

    would u tell me what does FLYING COLOUR mean here . apparantly it is a idiom . many thanks in advance

    The idiom is "with flying colours", and derives from the sight of many flags unfurled at a time of victory. It means overwhelming success.
