Default What about 'yens' or 'wons'?

I know you use 'ten thousand dollars'.

But do you also use 'ten thousand yens' or 'ten thousand wons (Korean denomination'?

    Always appreciate your help.

There's no -s on won or yen,

    10,000 dollars
    10,000 won
    10,000 yen

    :D

I believe it has to do with a) when the word was borrowed into the language and b) how it's used in the language.

'won' and 'yen' are relatively recent borrowings, and the terms are used for international trade purposes.

Wouldn't want to change the name just to suit the rules of the language, right? :D
