    Is this sentence wrong?

Hello. I'm having a look at a book on advanced English. In this exercise it asks you to correct the mistakes in some sentences, taking into account the fact that some of them are error-free.
The following sentence: "Cantner's Gym has been refurbished and is now open seven days a week" is apparently incorrect and the correction given in the answer key is as follows: "Cantner's Gym' has been ..." But this surely is a mistake, isn't it? Isn't the original sentence correct? Thank you.

The original sentence looks fine to me.

Are they implying that shortened versions of long words should have an apostrophe at the end? I've never heard of that before.
