    extreme adjectives

    I am doing a Celta assignment. My student wrote:
    " All my family is very lovely".
    It seems that the adjective chosen and very do not fit nicely together. Any suggestions as to what's wrong with the statement and what I can do to help her correct this in the future eg possible activities.

    Sorry, but I don't see anything wrong with "very lovely".

    Agreed...perhaps not the first combination to spring to mind, but it's a very acceptable way of expressing the feeling
