    Blue Monday

Is there an opposite of this idiom?

Where did you meet this? I know "blue moon" - "Once in a blue moon" = rarely. I can imagine Blue Monday = a bad Monday start. Neither is likely to have a precise opposite idiom.

Yes, the opposite of "Blue Monday" is "TGIF".

TGIF = Thank God It's Friday!

    Re: Blue Monday

You mean like when Monday is a Holiday? Or maybe when it's the first day of your Vacation?

Yes, those are good examples... Also, I've talked to some people who doesn't think that Monday is blue because it interrupts their wonderful weekend vacation. To some students, staying at home is excruciating that they'd rather be in school and spend time with classmates and friends.

I suppose that you could go with, "TGIM".

TGIM = Than God It's Monday

I think nobody is using that.
I would be a pioneer if I do.
