    use of comma

    Hi,

I received an email ended this way : "Please do not call ,

the sentence was ended with a comma and no signature. it was not a mistake the person really intended to use a comma rather than a period.

maybe it indicates that the conversation continues somehow?

    thanks

    Re: use of comma

No, I think that that was a mistake. If not, perhaps the person intended to sign off with that phrase, which would mean it would be followed by a signature.
