Default the end of the world

    Hi there.

" Why does my heart go on beating
Why do these eyes of mine cry
Don't they know it's the end of the world
It ended when you said goodbye"

Does 'they' refer to my heart and my eyes here?

    2. Does 'it' in blue refer to 'the world'?

    Thanks in advance.

1 Given that in the other verses, he uses 'they' when there are singular items in each of the first lines, I would assume that he means his eyes and his heart.
