    correct choice

    This book is the thinnest; it has A) the least pages
    B) the fewest pages
    C)fewer pages
    D)less pages

    I think the answer is A. Am I correct?

    I think you are correct. It is either (A) or (B). "least" refers to quantity, whereas "fewest" refers to number. Since we are referring back to the size of the book I would say you were correct.

    But as always happens in English, you will hear both (a) and (b) used in casual language.
