    Comprehension

    Dear teachers,

I have difficulty in understanding the following sentence. Could you please kindly explain it to me?

If banks were required to sell wallets and money belts, they might act less like churches.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Thank you in advance.
    Have a nice weekend.

    Re: Comprehension

It seems to suggest that if they had to carry out commercial transactions, they would be less solemn.
