what do you think about this sentence

Mother's Day and Father's Day are merely a sign of love.

should it be Mother's Day and Father's Day are merely signs of love.

I THINK WE SHOULD HAVE A DAY TO EXPRESS OUR LOVE TO OUR PARENTS, SO FATHER AND MOTHER'S DAY GIVE US A OPPORTUNTY TO DO THOSE THING.OTHERWISE WE WOULD FORGET THE LOVE WE SHOULD GIVE TO THEM.

    I like both ways. :D

    1. In their own right, separately, Mother's Day and Father's Day are merely a sign of love. :D

    2. Together, Mother's Day and Father's Day are merely signs of love. :D

    All the best,
