    Default Help with pronounciation please.

    Hi teacher, i was wonderinf if you could help me pronouce these words. Girl, they'll, they're, he'll, she'll and we'll. I can't seem to be able to pronouce the words clearly. Everytime i use them in a sentence when talking to my friends or in public. People have a hard time understanding me. Please help me.

    Jong,

    Girl -- Please ignore the letter "r" in "girl". Pronounce it as GUL.
    they'll -- is nothing but they will.
    they're-- they are
    he'll- he will
    she'll- she will
    we'll- we all or we will.

    If you have difficulty in pronouncing it in its abbreviated form, always use the expanded form.

    Your advice to jong about using the expanded form rather than contractions is good. This will help jong gain more confidence as he continues to develop his speaking abilities. Jong, use the contractions when you feel more comfortable speaking to others.

    I disagree with 'Please ignore the letter "r" in "girl". Pronounce it as GUL'. The 'r' is definitely pronounced when saying 'girl'. The word 'girl' rhymes with the words 'curl' and 'Earl'.
