    pronouns

why do we call (personal, reflexive, and possessive) pronouns PRIMARY, while the rest (demonstrative, interrogative, relative) SECONDARY?
what about the indifinite pronouns; are they primary or secondary? what's the criteria?

    Re: pronouns

    Could it be that.....

Personal, reflexive, and possessive pronouns are PRIMARY because they refer to a specific person or thing.

Demonstrative, interrogative, relative pronouns are SECONDARY because they refer to a generic, general or unknown person or thing.
