I can't get the similies of the following:
1.After the long run, my legs felt like __________.
    2.The elephant's skin is like ______________.
I think first answer may be wood and second silk.

There are no correct answers to these types of questions. After a long run, one person's legs may feel like steel springs, your legs may feel like wood, and another's legs may feel like rubber bands. If you think that an elephant's skin is like silk, then that is also a correct answer. I have never touched an elephant's skin, so I would take your word for it if you told me it was like silk.
