    double spaced?

    Hi.. guys...

    Please read the below sentences. I don't understand "letters". Does it mean

    mail in this context? Also, does "double spaced" mean lines with one empty line after each one?

    The typist made no effort to be consistent; she double-spaced the first and third letters, then single spaced the second, fourth, and fifth letters.

    Letter: a direct or personal written or printed message addressed to a person or organization

    Yes, Double space means one empty line after each complete one?
