Here is my question:
Can you use exactly the same "In the end" and "At the end"? I don't know why but some collocations sound odd to me.
Thanks a lot
Our house is at the end of the street
I visited Greenland, and I felt I was at the end of the world.
Her office is on the left side, at the end of the hall.
I won't tell you what happens at the end of the book.
At the end of the day we packed up our gear and went home.
In the end, she did succeed.
Persist, review, listen, and in the end you'll speak good English.
