    Volunteer or volunteered

May I ask whether students who volunteer to do something are volunteer students or volunteered or voluntary students? Thanks.

    Re: Volunteer or volunteered

    They are simply volunteers.

However, in context, you may need to use the phrase "student volunteers".

    Re: Volunteer or volunteered

It does not mean the same.

Volunteer students are students who are voluntarily students.

Student volunteers are volunteers that are also students.
