I think first one is correct. Am I right?

    They are both correct.

    Can you give more context?

Is there such grammar rule as: the verbs like sound, feel, taste, smell are used in the continuous form if a person is doer of an action:
    The girl is tasting food.
but we use thing+verb (simple form) +adj:
    The food tastes wonderful.
