    what is the name for the last syllable of a word?

    "The last syllable".

    If you mean something added to the end of a word to alter its meaning, like "hood" in "neighbourhood" or "ness" in "likeness", that's a "suffix".

    Well, the default is "Unregistered". And there's no requirement for anyone to register in order to ask a question in the Ask a Teacher forum: in fact, this is deliberate.
