Smile Poor service is not corrected by simply leaving no tip.

If the service is poor, tip the minimum amount and then talk to the manager. Poor service is not corrected by simply leaving no tip.

Is it better to reword the bolded line as the following? Thanks.

Poor service is not improved by simply giving no tip.

I think corrected implies that by leaving no tip, you are hoping the waiting staff will understand that their service was not up to standard and that they will change their behaviour.

"not improved" does not carry that meaning.

    Thanks, Anglika.
By the way, does my version sound right?
