mostly almost nearly
____half of the population has TV at home
i picked almost
but nearly sounds right too
and then the answer is nearly...........
but doesnt almost work too?
almost the half of the population?
Re: mostly almost nearly
Yes. Both almost and nearly work, but, in terms of semantics, almost means, very nearly (i.e. close to nearly). In this way, nearly would be the better choice. :D
