    Default Two 2nd conditionals!

Did you know that there are actually two second conditional conditionals?

    One is the unreal conditional:

If I knew where she lived, I'd tell you.

The other is the unlikely (or improbable) conditional which expresses the speaker's interpretation of the situation as unlikely:

What would you do if you lost your job?

I would say so, but which one is written down as the "rule" in ESL books?
