    Re: home/house

Both. However a home is more than a house. Houses are the containers for homes. A home is a result of adding furniture, people, pets plus all the interactions between these various things.

Leave home is more usual and sounds natural and accurate than leave house in the sense that you go to work or school in the morning and come back when you get free. Leave house is used (to my knowledge) to move out (leave house forever) and start living somewhere else either because you got angry with your family members or there might be some other reasons.
    Hope this has helped!
    Regards!
