    Are the following sentences identified correctly?

    Find the independent clause in the sentence. (Complex)

    Most of the sentences that we speak are complex. (Complex)

    The fish are biting, so let's go fishing. (Complex)

    The Cubs are in town for a week. (Simple)

    When they went to Okalahoma, Mary drove most of the way. (Complex-Compound)

    Kelly, who is quite tall, hopes to play basketball. (Complex)

    The United States has many national parks. (Simple)
