    question about grammer

    Hi,
    Could you please help me in explaining which sentence is correct?

    I am interested in TA position at your school.

    OR

    I am interested in TA position in your school.

    Using at your (the) school means you want to know where somebody/something is, for example:
    Where is your car? It's at the school.
    But I believe AE and BE may be different in respect of school.

    If a specific job/position has not been advertised, and you are writing in case they do have such an opening, then you would write:
    I am interested in a TA position at your school (((and wonderif you have such an opening))).
    If a specific position has been adveritised, and you are applying for the job, then you would write
    I am interested in the TA position at your school (((that is currently being advertised))).
    PLEASE NOTE: these sentences indicate the use of 'a' and 'the'. If you are actually writing to a school, you should look at examples of how to write letters of enquiry, or an actual application for a position.
