Red face "to stick the tongue out and hold it"

"She asked me to be quiet because she knew I am going to stick the tongue out and hold it"

What does it mean of "to stick the tongue out and hold it"

    Thanks.

Re: "to stick the tongue out and hold it"

It is not an English idiom, but from the context it would seem to be the same as "I can't keep my mouth shut" > Am only too likely to say things without thinking first.
