    debriefing vs. briefing

    hi, what's the difference between debriefing & briefing?

    seems either sentence is ok:

    1) Let me give you guys a briefing of the meeting held yesterday.

    2) Let me give you guys a debriefing of the meeting held yesterday.

    thanks,

    Re: debriefing vs. briefing

    Difference = when it happens
    briefing = BEFORE the meeting
    debriefing = AFTER the meeting
