Default when you come to a fork in the road, take it

    Dear teachers,

    What does the title mean?
I ran into it in a book I am working on. Bad thing is that there is no context...

    thanks :)

It means, change paths, do something else, change the way you are doing things.

When you come to a division in the road, take it.

A division in the road looks like a fork ( ---<-- ). You can go straight--continue where you were going or you can change your direction by going left or right; you can take the left road or the right road; you can change your path.
