    Question Degree

Can anybody help me fully understand the difference, if any, between fairly, quite, rather, pretty, when expressing degree. Which is stronger? Is there a scale? Thanks in advance.

Not a fixed one IMO- they can vary with things like stress and context.

Thanks a lot. Is there any kind of reference site or book for expressions like these: IMO, PTO, ASAP...?
